Wordful Wednesday – Scary Mommy and Motherhood Comes Naturally

Wordful Wednesday 411Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words.  It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try.  Add my Wordful Wednesday badge to your post (right side bar under “WW”) if you really want to make me happy, and then add your post link to the linky below. Easy peasy.

Last week I had the privilege of attending a fun L.A. Event with my good friend Jill Smokler, the New York Times Best Selling Author of Confessions of a Scary Mommy.  She was in Los Angeles to promote her latest book, Motherhood Comes Naturally (and Other Vicious Lies).  Jill’s new book debunks more than twenty pervasive myths about motherhood in the way that only Jill can do.  {{smiling}}

It was so nice to see her, even if we didn’t get nearly enough time to catch up.

 By the way, Jill still has a few stops on her book tour!  She’s one of the nicest people I know, so if you have the chance to meet her, I highly recommend attending a book signing!  Learn more here.

  1. I brag to everyone who will listen that Jill was awesome enough to feature one of my posts on her site one week. She really is SO KIND!

  2. Her’s was one of the first blogs that I started reading and then some how stopped….. I don’t have any reason why either.

  3. Y’all are so cute together! And, seriously, I saw her everywhere when we were at Disney, but I felt like she was on vacation, so I didn’t want to come up and say hi!

  4. I’m so bummed that she was in LA and I missed it. But very excited to be one of the features posts this week! You gals rock!

  5. I’ve seen the book all over the place but haven’t read it yet. Looks like I better get on it!

  6. Thanks SO much for the feature, but I must point out that my farmland picture is being directed to the hitting and pinching topic. I have enJOYed your parties for quiet some time. Thanks for the hard work you 2 put into posting this party.

  7. Sounds like you had an amazing time!! Looks like a fun book. 🙂

  8. She is such a kind person, isn’t she? I sort of met her at a Boggy Boot Camp a few years back – but was too shy to strike up a conversation with her. 🙂 Love the pic of the two of you together! 🙂
