Wordful Wednesday – End of Soccer Season

Wordful Wednesday 411Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words. It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try. Add my Wordful Wednesday badge to your post (right side bar under “WW”) if you really want to make me happy, and then add your post link to the linky below. Easy peasy.

Soccer season ended for the twins and I’m so happy.  They had a great season, but I’m selfishly happy that for a few weeks at least I can reclaim at least part of my Saturdays back.  Maybe I should re-think this sports thing. {{laughing}}

Do your kids play sports?  Do you mind giving up your weekends or am I the only selfish one?

    Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the commitment that sports teams take. As you know, when you multiply that by 5, it gets to be a LOT of practices and games.

    My brother and sister-in-law seemed relieved to have soccer season done for their twins, too – just in time for the hectic holiday season! 😉 I’ve been secretly happy that Princess Nagger has had no interest in sports – looks like Little Dude will be the one to change all that. 🙂 The twins are SO CUTE!!!

    Your boys are so cute! We haven’t played soccer in a while, I kind of miss it.

    Any mom who agrees to soccer is unselfish. I refused to let mine play. That is a selfish mom. Just can’t do it. Nope. Nada. No way. Hope my children aren’t scarred for life.
