Homemade Root Beer {recipe}

Making Homemade Root Beer only requires a few ingredients, and is a super fun recipe to make for a large gathering.  My sister makes it every year for our family reunion and it’s always a hit.  The kids LOVE the root beer and they love watching her make it.  It’s like the best science experiment ever because it yields enough sweet beverage for a few days.  Most of the kids think it’s magic!   {{smiling}}

How to Make Homemade Root Beer:

Mix up the sugar, Root Beer Concentrate/extract, 2 gallons of water and add the dry ice.  Add extra water as needed for taste.  Some people like it stronger or weaker.  Also, with less water to begin with, it’s easier to stir without getting all sticky and you get a better “show” with the dry ice.  {{smiling}}

HINT:  Do not use a metal spoon to stir the ingredients together, it will make the Root Beer taste like metal.
