Wordful Wednesday – Things That Made Me Smile

Wordful Wednesday 411: Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words. It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try. Add my Wordful Wednesday badge to your post (right side bar under “WW”) if you really want to make me happy, and then add your post link to the linky below. Easy peasy.

I mentioned last week that we’ve been sick in these parts.  The boys missed 4 days of school, and #2 missed a few days as well.  Needless to say, I didn’t get a whole lot done, and opportunities to take pictures were either non-existent or I didn’t take advantage of them.

So, for this weeks Wordful Wednesday, I thought I’d just share with you things that I found this past week that made me smile.  Maybe next year I’ll be prepared with a fun Valentine’s Day post.  I can always hope, right?

This first photo was taken on Emma’s birthday.  She just looks so sweet that I couldn’t help but smile.

I found this video on my phone and it totally made me laugh.  It’s super short, but pay attention to what I say.  Poor kid got shot down!  🙂

And lastly, this text definitely brought a smile to my face.   Who cares if  “awesome mommy” is mis-spelled.

Do you have anything fun planned for Valentine’s Day?

  1. Lol, you said it was lame, but clearly not so lame that it couldn’t star in WW! Too funny!

  3. O-M-G LMAO at that video! That is so hilarious!

I pray that the boys survive the rest of “winter” without any sicknesses! I hope everyone is feeling better and in a sugar coma by now!

My husband was supposed to go to volleyball…I know…romantic. But instead he went to spend time with his buddy who is going through a nasty seperation. He didn’t want him to be alone.
And yes I let him. Can’t be mad at that.

  6. Those things made me smile too. How sweet! I loved the video. I would say the same things to my kids. lol

Hope everyone is feeling better now. Isn’t February the worst for sickness? We;ve all been sick too. I think that’s why we celebrate Valentine’s Day in February. So we can get chocolate to feel better.
