Wordful Wednesday-The LAST Florida Vacation post

Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, only WITH words. It’s for those of us that can’t contain the chatter, but in a good way. More info. in my tabber box titled WW on the right. Thank you for playing along!

I can almost hear them.  All the “it’s about time” thoughts.  I know that I’ve spent MORE than a month of Wednesday’s on my Florida vacation, and I appreciate your patience with me as I drag it on and on, but really, my vacation is important to me, so I HAD to.  🙂

I couldn’t not.

So, for this edition of Wordful Wednesday, I’m wrapping up my Florida vacation posts with some of my favorite shots of the trip because they star my children.  These photos were all taken on Captiva Island in the late morning.  It was really beautiful with the fog hanging over the beach.

We really did have the type of vacation that memories are made of!

{My husband is a sand sculpting wizard!}

See you next week for another edition of Wordful Wednesday.  And I promise, it won’t have anything to do with Florida.  🙂

Don’t forget to hop on over to my co-host  Amanda’s place to see what she has to be Wordful about today.

    Wow! I love your photos. Looks like you had an amazing vacation with your family. It makes me excited about going away in a month with my own family. I can’t wait for sunshine and warmth!

    I love, love, LOVE the photo of all five of your kids facing the ocean holding hands. It should be put on canvas and hung on the wall for all to see. It’s a timeless moment….and they are really beautiful kids Angie. Just like their Mama! 🙂

    NO KIDDING! That man is a sand sculpting wizard! Thanks for visiting our lovely state, where the scenery is a lot more gorgeous than the current political landscape. 🙂

    Wow, your husband did an awesome job on that sand sculpture. I came back from a trip to last week. Unfortunately, it was a very short stay. Made me want to go back and visit for a longer period of time though.

    Gorgeous photos, mama! That crocodile sand sculpture ROCKS! Some of our best family memories happened on those same beaches. We love Sanibel and Captiva Island. I can’t wait to go back again this summer.

    Holy wow your oldest is gorgeous! And not that the alligator is more gorgeous or anything but… ??? SRSLY?? We make blobs and call them castles. WOW.

  12. 42

    Ok. Be honest. Did your husband practice sculpting wildlife in the backyard for WEEKS before your vacation? I can only seem to manage to build a lopsided, bucket shaped castle!
    Love your photos, a sunny reminder that good weather is coming!

    Sanibel is now on my list of must-visit places. Since you won’t pack me in your suitcase, and that would be unfair to my hubby and kids anyway, I guess we’ll have to get ourselves there!

    Great pics of your kiddos. Love the black & white.
