Wordful Wednesday-My Kiddos, Minus One

I’m kind of partial to my kids {{laughing}} and so every once in awhile I find myself feeling compelled to show them off.  Like today.  I took these pictures a week or so ago at Balboa Park in San Diego, and to be honest, I’m pretty proud of myself.  I think these pictures perfectly capture their expressions at time, and quite frankly, I love them. You might notice that child #1 is missing.  Sadly.  Here’s why.

Are your kids growing up at the speed of light, too?

Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, only WITH words. It’s for those of us that can’t contain the chatter, but in a good way. More info. in my tabber box titled WW on the right. Thank you for playing along!

Don’t forget to hop on over to my co-host Amanda’s place (Parenting By Dummies) to see what she has to be Wordful about today!

I’m giving away a Frito-Lay bundle plus {$50 Amex Card} if you are interested.  Click here to enter.

    Your pics look great!

  18. Oh my lawd your kids are goreous! Just like their mama! I’ve never linked up to a Wordful/Wordless Wednesday, but I think today might be my first day.

  19. Oh they are beautiful and yes, they grow up so fast!

  20. Aren’t they all so adorable!

  21. Awesome job Angie! Check out that bokeh and gorgeous subject matter 🙂 I can’t wait to see you post more! Did you get a new camera? Have a great week!

  22. Great photos. Looks like a fun day. My kids are definitely growing too fast. We were at the beach with friends yesterday and looking at The Girl, who is 7, next to my friend’s daughter, who is 6, The Girl’s body is changing… she’s not prepubescent or anything, but she’s lost all traces of “little” girl and is long and lanky and you can see where she’s going to start to curve when the time comes. It makes me sad…. that’s my baby!

  23. They are getting so big!! They are too cute!

  24. They’re darling, and it really does hurt to see them start to take leave of the nest. 🙁

  25. sweet faces! It would spell the end of my blog if my daughter wanted me to stop blogging about her-since it’s all about her!

  26. They are absolutely adorable! I’m not looking forward to the day that Princess Nagger will opt out of photo ops or being plastered on my blog. 😉 And yes, I keep forgetting not to blink – time is flying by way too fast!

  27. The ARE growing up at the speed of light. My 10 year old is as big as me already and my baby is going to be entering second grade in the fall. All 3 kids are changing before my eyes and I wish I could slow it down somehow.

  28. Beautiful photos of beautiful children. It warms my heart!

  29. I think these are great – only a mother could truly capture her children’s personalities.

  30. they are getting so grown!!! You are so very true!
They are just as adorable as always though 🙂

  31. Great pictures. And my son is getting really annoyed with my camera lately too. He puts his hands up and says, “No pictures”….I guess I need to find another muse. Maybe my dogs will pose for me. Will I be that weird dog person then?

  32. They are definitely getting SO BIG!
But they are still cute as ever 😉

  33. Ok Stacy I’m a little new to your blog so I didn’t know about #1’s fall-out with your blog. That photo of her annoyed is fantastic!!!! I laughed so hard I cried! Hahahaha! I love teens.

  34. These pictures are GORGEOUS! You should be proud.
And yes, my kids are growing up WAY too fast. Makes me want to cry 🙁
(two of mine are seniors in highschool now! ack!)

  35. Beautiful!

  36. Aww…your kids are so beautiful! Where does the time go?

  37. Awesome photos! I love capturing my wee ones real personalities in photos. And I must admit, I ADORE your red heads. Three of our four wee ones have bright red hair (as I did before the awful gray set in… BLAH!). Oh! And the freckles… Too cute!

  38. These photos (and the kids!) are gorgeous!

  39. Thanks for allowing us to add words, lol! I do sometimes, more often than not lately. Mary, from the Mama Mary show sent me! Happy Wordful Wednesday, hope to be around more!

  40. She didn’t want to come? How teenager-ish! Tess still wants to be a part of the action, but Luke only just tolerates us… no wait, it’s the other way ’round. I can’t wait for him to grow out this know-it-all stage.

  41. Aw, love the pictures! My boy is 3, and I’m constantly amazed at how much older he seems to be getting!
