Wordful Wednesday-Kids and their Costumes

We had a house-ful of dresser-uppers this year for Halloween.  Loosely translated, this means lots of face paint, tons of frenzied activity trying to get to parties and school on time, and ultimately lots of fun.

We had a punk rocker (#3):

A Clown (#4):

A Bag of Skittles (#2):

A pirate (#5):

The White Queen from Alice in Wonderland (#1):

And, the cast of Alice in Wonderland in my driveway….

What did your kids dress up as?

Amanda and I are so excited about this month’s Wordful Wednesday theme because we just have so much to be thankful about and we know you all do to!

Before we get into this month’s excitement though, we need to award the prize from last month!

Thanks to everyone who entered!  We loved looking at all of your Spooky entries, including the not-really-Spooky-at-all-ones-that-were-linked-up-mistakenly.  Those were cool too:).  The winner was Mozi Esme.  Her little someone special will soon be the proud owner of a costume from Celebrate Express!

Get yourself ready for this month’s theme: Being Thankful!

I am thankful for so much including my family, a nice and warm home, good food, friends, Apple electronics, all of you….

Please come back THE LAST WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH (11/30) to share what you are THANKFUL for with us!  There’s a reward in it for you, too!

Three lucky linkers who keep with the theme AND link back to Wordful Wednesday (we know everyone links up to a ton of different meme’s and we’re totally cool with that, but if we’re gonna give us a prize, we just need you to share our Wordful Wednesday link on your site) will be gifted with 25 free holiday cards from Shutterfly!

Everyone’s thankful for a great holiday card, right?!  Shutterfly makes calendars, tote bags, mouse pads, cards, stationary, and more.  Their items are easily customizable, modern, adorable, affordable, and fun!

Now, link up your Wordful Wednesday posts, go visit Amanda at Parenting by Dummies, and get started on your Thankfullness list!

  6. The kids look absolutely amazing! And I’m looking forward to delving into this month’s theme… 😉 My link will go live at midnight EST – I’m currently in the parking lot of a gas station about a mile from my house ‘borrowing’ their WiFi hotspot from the dark cold parking lot since we’ve had no internet, cable TV or phone since the snowstorm on Saturday! 🙂 But it’ll be there…trust me. 😉 I figured I’d better link up now while I have a chance – can’t drag the 4-year old with me tomorrow! 🙂

  7. Um, does your pirate even have a “hairy” chest? That’s awesome.

Everyone looks so great! Happy Halloween!
