Wordful Wednesday: Florida Vacation Issue II

Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, only WITH words. It’s for those of us that can’t contain the chatter, but in a good way. More info. in my tabber box titled WW on the right. Thank you for playing along!

One of the highlights of our vacation was being able to get out in the boat  and explore the canals and islands (apparently the “islands” are made of mounds of seashells) around our rental house.  Of course, it took a lot of planning charting out our course, keeping no wake zones and water depths in mind, but it was totally worth it.  {You can read more about the difficulties we found navigating the waters here.}

We got to see dolphins playing in the water by our boat almost every day we went out!

And being out on the water with a beautiful sky and water all around was spectacular!

Don’t forget to hop on over to Amanda’s place to see what she has to be Wordful about.

ALSO, my post goes live for  a $200 American Express card compliments of Salonpas on 2/24/11. Contest runs through the 28th of February, so be sure to come back and enter to win.  I’d LOVE for one of you to get $200 to spend however you’d like!

    LOVE this! Because my Wordless Wednesdays are NEVER really wordless. I’m just a wordy, wordy gal, a storyteller. Inspired by, enhanced by lots of photos on Wednesdays, yes. But wordless? Nope, not me. Glad to see I’m not alone.

    there are definite tricks to navigating the waters of Florida, we take our boat with us to the beach every year. I love getting out as seeing all the wildlife not available from the shore. I think I best find has been the sea turtles we saw a couple of years ago.

    Five of the cutest little sailors ever! That sounds like a memory filled, fun vacation! And hopefully, you brought some warm weather and those blue skies home with you. Er, except you live in California so it will do me no good in Pittsburgh, aka Snow Town, USA! A girl can dream though!
