Wordful Wednesday – Fishing in Utah

Wordful Wednesday 411Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words. It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try. Add my Wordful Wednesday badge to your post (right side bar under “WW”) if you really want to make me happy, and then add your post link to the linky below. Easy peasy.

This is it, my friends.  This is the end of my “Camping in Utah” posts.  I’m patting myself on the back for EVER finishing!

Another activity we do while we are camping in Utah is fishing.  I should amend that.  I don’t fish.  I go along for the ride.  Jeff and my dad bate and cast a million lines and then the kids get bored and then we pack up and go back to camp.  I don’t know why we bother, but we do it every year.  If nothing else, the scenery is beautiful. This year we drove about an hour to get to this lake and then a storm came up so our fishing trip didn’t last long.

pic of week 1

We’ve decided to only feature one awesome linker each week.  We hope this will mean that all of you will be excited about linking up and visiting our favorite.  To start it off, we’re featuring Kristi at Live and Love Outloud because after a wicked haircut, a girl really just needs some high fives.

  1. So, did you catch more than that one? Did you eat it?

I’m not a big fan of fishing, but I’ll do it! But, I’d much rather hang out swimming in that little area!

  2. They don’t like to fish??? Mine will stand there all day waiting for a bite. Zeke even learned to cast by himself this summer.
Looks like such a great family vacation– so important to have time with the cousins. Glad you get to do this. Even though it’s camping… ick.

  3. I’m not much into fishing either but my husband and boys enjoy it. The wading area looks like fun and the scenery looks pretty.

  4. Ohhhhhh! That looks like so much FUN! Great shots!! 🙂

  8. You are right… that is a beautiful area to go for just the scenery… I am also not a fisher (I am not a fan of getting “dirty” ) So I would have been all about taking pictures!!!!
How funny you featured the wicked haircut…

    Have a great week!

  9. I love how “into it” the girls seem. That water was icy cold…I can’t believe that the kids went in!

  10. I think the girls would have had more fun staying at camp making bracelets. Thanks for sharing all your family vacation pictures.

  11. These are great! You make me want to travel!!!!!

Question – Why do we call it Wordless/Wordful Wednesday when everyone seems to post on Tuesdays? Killing me! lol
