  45. My brother loved to climb trees…in fact, he climbed a pine tree in the mountains of Colorado once. He got scared and wanted my dad to get him. But, the limbs were too short to hold my dad, so we had to talk him down, all the while he was about 4 or 5 stories up. The very ironic thing is…before he came down, my mom HAD to get a picture of him. I am sure she would have blogged about it had she had one at the time!

  46. Stephanie says

One of my favorite climbing trees memories from childhood involves purple stains on clothes, fingers, and faces. We had a huge mulberry tree on my parent’s farm, and spent many lazy summer days perched in it!

That is such a cool picture! I want to make the kids a treehouse SO bad, but I’m not sure we have a tree that will really work. My inlaws cut down a willow tree that was awesome for the kids to climb. Grrrrrr…I was mad, but it is their tree so I guess I can’t complain:)
