Wordful Wednesday-BlogHer with Parenting by Dummies

I *just* (well, not really *just* but it feels like *just*) got home after spending 3 days in San Diego for BlogHer ’11!  It was so, so busy, but so, so fun.  I really wasn’t expecting to enjoy myself as much as I did.  I went to my first BlogHer expecting to be overwhelmed, and came out thinking that I wish each day had more hours in it, because I could have used them, and even better, I didn’t feel overwhelmed even once.

One of the highlights of BlogHer for me was getting to see Dumb Mom in action in a Snapfish roundtable she participated in about photography.  As you know, Amanda has some crazy good photography skills and she’s a really engaging speaker.  I even got to share a table with two fellow Wordful Wednesday participants, which was, well, extraordinary.

So, for this edition of Wordful Wednesday, may I present a few shots of just a moment during my BlogHer time?

Here we go….

Dumb Mom knows how to work her audience.  Clearly. {P.S. Why do I get the feeling Amanda might kill me for this photo?}

This is me, Caitlin from Pacifier in my Pocket and Dumb Mom how she normally looks.  Flashing that mega watt smile.

Nicole (on the left) from Moments that Define Life and I have been online friends for 2 years and got to meet at BlogHer for the first time.  We initially “met” because we both have the same rare form of twins.  Hers are much younger than mine, and seeing video of them on her iphone made me remember the good old days.  {sigh}.

I have a ton more BlogHer fodder, coming up in the next little while, so check back in, you hear?  You can read about Day One of BlogHer ’11 here!

Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, only WITH words. It’s for those of us that can’t contain the chatter, but in a good way. More info. in my tabber box titled WW on the right. Thank you for playing along!

Don’t forget to hop on over to my co-host Amanda’s place (Parenting By Dummies) to see what she has to be Wordful about today!

    I had every intention of attending Blogher this year since it was so close to home. But then discovered I’d actually be having a baby that week… Foiled by God! 🙂

      I have been printing off my reiepcs from the internet and putting them into a 3-ring binder using those clear sheet protectors. Then I use dividers to separate types of meals. I have breakfast, sides, main course, crock pot, and desserts. Overtime as it gets larger, I will be adding more dividers for chicken, beef, pork, etc. You can also find (I’m not sure where though), clear plastic pages that index card size reiepcs can fit into. Or, what I may do, is just paste or tape the cards onto a sheet of paper and place it in a sheet protector.good luck!

    How nice of you to say such lovely things about me! I had so much fun hanging out with you and getting to know you even better. And I’m okay with that creepy photo of me as long as everyone knows I was just kidding with that face, I’m usually less scary!
