The kidlets LOVE the beach.

I just wish we didn’t bring so much of the beach home with us.

I could do without all that sand.

    Lisa (Jonnysmommy) says

Oh I know! There would be sand in your shoes, shorts…clothes, in the car…ugh!

I haven't taken my son to a beach yet. I think the closest one is 6 or 7 hours away! I may avoid it all together. 🙂

  23. 218

    Melissa says

Yeah man, part in parcel of playing at the beach, especially if there's no shower up at the end of the sand beginning of the road to wash yourself up with.
I think a little vacumme in the car though every now and then is worth being able to go to the beach.
It's the biggest thing or one of, that I miss about NZ.

I am so with them! I swear I must have been a crustacean in my last life because the beach feels like home. That being said, now that I am no longer a sea creature, I too could do without the sand everywhere:) Love the photos!

We saw this on the national news tonhgit. It’s called a “haboob” or something like that, right? My parents were glued to the TV watching it, because Mesa has become their second home (they spend 6 months of the year there). They haven’t experienced one of these storms first-hand, but I bet my dad would be outside watching it. He’s 75. LOL!
