Wordful Wednesday-Batman Live Edition

Wordful Wednesday 411: Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words.  It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try.  Add my Wordful Wednesday badge to your post (right side bar under “WW”) if you really want to make me happy, and then add your post link to the linky below. Easy peasy.

Thursday was a highlight for my boys.

They got to go see Batman Live on a school night, which of course meant a big night in Los Angeles and staying up late.  They were dying to see the show and it was AMAZING so they weren’t disappointed.  I’m thinking it was one of those nights that for them will remain in their memories forever.

Everything about the show was well done.  The story line was easy to follow, the stunts, the acrobatics and the costumes were fantastic.  When the Joker came out with a Jetpack on {that worked}, I think Jacob almost had a heart attack it was so thrilling.

It didn’t hurt that we had 4th row seats.

Before the show started, Emma and I Covered the Black Carpet.  We got to take pictures of and chit chat with the celebrities and “notables” that showed up for the LA premier.  This was a once in a life time opportunity for Emma.  I’m not sure that she really understands how lucky she was to be the only child allowed to help on the black carpet.  Hopefully when she’s older she’ll look back and realize that it was a big deal.  Wasn’t she adorable?

One of my favorite photos of the evening was this one of the black carpet winding down right before Batman Live started.

My sister was a trooper and brought some of her kids and some of mine (her oldest and my oldest didn’t attend) and met Emma and me before the show started.  We left with a gaggle of happy kids, and that made us both very happy mama’s.

If Batman Live is playing in your city on their US Tour, I’d recommend seeing it!
