We visited Grand Cayman on our recent vacation, and it was amazing.  I wish we could have stayed longer.  We only got to spend one day on Seven Mile Beach, but it was a highlight for sure.  I’ve never seen a more beautiful beach with such clear water.

We snorkeled right from the beach {love not having to take a boat out to a reef}, and even saw a  barracuda right at the shoreline!  There was this little clear/silver fish that followed Jeff everywhere, too.  No matter how many times Jeff got in or out of the water the fish would find him and swim close to his body the whole time he was snorkeling.  I definitely want to go back.  Grand Cayman is GORGEOUS.

  1. OMG… I wish I hadn’t looked at this. The beach by MY house (Long Beach, CA) looks like a dump now 🙁 But beautiful pictures! What a blessing to be there!

    • Anne,
I usually go to Huntington or Newport, (I live in Claremont) AND now I’m afraid that the first time I go back this summer I’m going to be disappointed after the beach there. 🙂

  2. Ohhhhhh! I LOVE Grand Cayman! And you have captured the ‘why’ beautifully! 🙂 And thank you so much for the shout out! You’re a sweetie! 🙂

  8. Looks incredible! I hope to get there in the next couple of years. My aunt has a time share in Cayman and goes every year. She absolutely LOVES it there and usually spends 2-3 weeks at a time. We’ve been invited the past couple of years but haven’t been able to work it out with our business schedule yet. Looks like it’s time to make it happen 🙂 Glad you all had such a great time!
