Oh, and. Clever title…with the three sevens. 🙂

  2. Very nice! I love shutters! So simple and so stylish and so very easy to keep dust free. Enjoy your new found privacy. 🙂

  3. OMG!!! Beautiful and amazing….love plantation shutters. =) and privacy is kind of nice too.

    • My house is sort of an U shape with all those windows right in the middle, so it’s really nice to have the privacy I’ve been living without!

  4. Looks like they were well worth the wait. Your house is just gorgeous.

  5. Love it, Angie! Doesn’t it feel awesome when projects are done?!

  6. What a relief…and they look beautiful!

  7. Yay for those shutters. They look really nice. 🙂

Before we moved in to our place, curtains were at the top of my list and the first two nights we were here with no curtains, I hated the fact that anybody could just see in.

  8. Your shutters are gorgeous!

  9. I LOVE them! I’ve always wanted Plantation Shutters.

  10. Yeah!! We have lived in our house for 5 years and I still don’t have any window treatments. Thank goodness, we are surrounded by trees.

  11. It looks awesome!

I’m amazed at how neat everything is. I just have 3 little boys and you should see today’s destruction.

  12. You inspired me. I couldn’t decided what picture to post and when I saw your new awesome shutter you reminded me about new light fixture.

  13. Those are gorgeous!!

  14. Beautiful! What a nice addition!

  15. Looks great! Congrats on a wonderful finished tackle!

  16. Love it! I have lived in my house for over 4 years now, and we still don’t have any draperies. We have blinds (not nearly as beautiful as yours), but I STILL haven’t gotten around to window coverings.

What does that say about me?!

  17. They look beautiful. I can see why you love them. It would make me crazy to live in a house without blinds or drapes. You definitely deserve to be excited!

  28. Yeah! Happy dance time! They look wonderful. Thanks for hosting!

  29. Beautiful! Now you don’t have to worry about any creepers peaking in your windows and doors.

  30. Your home is so pretty and inviting. Thanks for letting us see in and too bad the neighbors can’t anymore!!! HA!

  31. I totally remember living on our house without blinds.. LOL.. I feel your pain.

  32. They look fantastic!!!!

  33. GORGEOUS! Love the shutters and love the privacy! Fish bowls are no fun. 🙂

  34. i can almost hear the halleluya choir angie! AND they are gorgeous – sleek and chic

  35. Those look amazing! Please tell me where they are from. Since we got our new windows last summer some of our windows are still sitting open to the world. I’m sick of watching TV with a blanket over my head. Need help ASAP!

  36. They look wonderful.

  37. Very nice!!

We still don’t have any window coverings on the back sliding door and the kitchen window. I wish hubby would get on that.

  40. They look great! I have always loved that white shuttered look.

  41. Love them! I hear ya! We have only put curtains and shades in the bathrooms and living rooms! I can’t wait to get them up in the rest of the house! We have wooden shutters like that in our bathroom!

  42. Oh those look great.

  43. Those are awesome! I always wanted some shutters like that!

  44. We went just as long without window coverings on our front window, and you can see straight into the neighbors house. I totally understand the fish bowl feeling. Especially when you forget to grab a towel BEFORE you jump in the shower. 🙂
Congratulations on your new Window Coverings!

    • I don’t even want to think about how many people driving by saw more than they expected. 🙂

  45. OMG those look fantastic! I’m so jealous!

  46. They look like they belong there. Perfectly fit in with your decor.

  47. I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!! Gorgeous!!! You guys did such a great job!

And go ahead. Tell me your living room looks that CLEAN AND WHITE all the time. Go ahead. 🙂

I got your email.. and I’m swimming, but I’ll get back to you.. !
My post today is about my trip last week! yay for mom vacations!!

    • Actually. I don’t like things out of place. That’s the formal living room, so we are not in there all the time. Our everyday living areas look lived in! 🙂

  49. Awesome!!

  50. I totally agree, and when Good Housekeeping leaves let me know what issue it’s going to be in! 🙂 I am totally envious.

  51. They look just lovely and so cozy too! Your home looks so welcoming 🙂
(I just had my husband put some up on our lower floor of our house as well…for the same reason)

  52. The shutters look beautiful Angie!!

  53. Those look really beautiful. Enjoy the nice and new and privacy.

Was that for the neighbors 🙂

  54. Your house is looking beautiful, Angie. The shutters look wonderful. And what a relief when you can see it all coming together.
    Janice.
PS. I SWEAR I only pressed Mr Linky once. Perhaps you can delete numbers 78 and 79….?

  55. Oh those are stunning blinds!

  56. We’ve lived w/o curtains and/or drapes in our downstairs windows for so long that I get claustrophobic when I’m in a house with proper window treatments! Crazy, I know, but true. I do love your shutters, though. You’ve given me an inspiration…maybe this summer?

    • I DO know what you mean. I still have windows without coverings, but not that face the street! 🙂

  57. nice shutters 🙂 cozy!

  58. They do look spectacular!

  59. I like the Blinds, Hubby wants some like those in the living room.

  62. Beautiful! I finally just gave in and got us some drapes for our big front window. Hubs didn’t like that everyone could see in 🙂

  80. I think Mr Linky is down… I can’t see him.

So nice to have privacy at last. I hate feeling so exposed – and even worse having the neighbors comment on what you were doing the night before!

  81. They look great! I’ve been looking for something similar for our down stairs where did you find those?

  82. What a relief I’m sure! But it looks like the time was well worth the wait. They are beautiful!!

  86. I LOVE them…I can’t believe what a difference it makes. So much more homey..I don’t think that is even a word, but you know what I mean;)

  87. Wow is that ever nice. SO much better than drapes and lets light in when you need it.

    Are they hard to clean?

  88. YEAH! So happy for you. I don’t what I’d do if I couldn’t walk around in my undies 😉 They look great. Congrats.

  89. Looks fabulous!!

  90. Hey there! I’m new around these parts, but I’ve heard so much about your blog! I’m visiting from Le Musings of Moi, and I decided to join in the fun.

I love those blinds! I kinda wish I had done those in my house. I know what it feels like to live in a fishbowl. The entire front wall of my living room is a window, and our house is on a quiet one-way street, but right at a stop sign, so cars just stop in front of my house often. Awkward.

  91. I love plantation shutters. Do they call them that out west? We had some in on our house in VA. So nice!

  92. LOVE the shutters. Super cute. And, two decades from now when you don’t want them on your windows anymore, you can hang them on a wall or use them as room dividers! =^) Or send them to ME and I’ll do that.

  93. Those ARE beautiful!

  94. Love it. looks very beautiful and i would be proud to have something like this.

  95. It looks GREAT!!

  96. wow so beautiful…♥iLuv your style!

  97. They look great! Enjoy your privacy!!

  98. I could not have lived like that! I’m happy for you.

  99. I love the shutters!
Hey, I had a bit of trouble accessing your page earlier today. I was going to email you but obviously had no problem this time. Just thought I’d let you know in case others experienced something similiar. I know it would help if I could tell you what time it was but I just know that it was before 930 am.

  100. They’re bee-you-tee-ful! I’m glad they were worth the wait.

  101. I love the shutters!

  102. I adore plantation shutters. If only they didn’t cost an arm and a leg.

PS…from someone chatty. I appreciate Wordful Wednesdays!

  103. ♥ I LOVE IT!!! I’ve always wanted blinds like that! They look FABULOUS!!! 🙂
