Opinion, please…..

I need to know: If you could go to Los Cabos/Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta or Cancun, which would you chose, and WHY? I need to know why.

  1. I have never been to any of the three so I have no opinions. I do have to say I am jealous as it sounds wonderful to go to any one of them!

  2. I’m with Laura, never been to any of them. I have no idea which would be best. I would love, love to go to any of them.

  3. Based on nothing but opinion…which means nothing, I would do Los Cabos.

  4. I’m no help either. Never been to any of those places and don’t know anything about them either. I would have to get online and due some research. But since It’s not me going anywhere I really don’t want to take the time to look them up. It would just make me want to go!

    Good luck!

♥ I’m so no help either! The farthest I’ve been from the US is Canada! Sad I know! Maybe someday!

    Los cabos hands down!

  7. Since Brooke, mom, dad, and Bjorn got caught in that class 5 hurricane in Cancun, I’d pick one of the others. Are you going on ANOTHER Vacation? I hope this one’s just you and Jeff. 🙂

  8. Jeremiah R. Jones says

Cabo, yes, but never Los Cabos–too far from surfing. Tamara didn’t like the hotels there, either.

If I went right now–Cancun. Better surf for this time of year.

Later in the year (December), or early next year, Puerto (oh, yes, there’s an “o”) Vallarta.

  9. I have been to all 3. In my opinion you really can’t go wrong with Mexico but I would vote Cabo. Brian and I stayed in San Jose Del Cabo and loved it. It was about a 15 minute ride to Cabo San Lucas which is where the “fun” happens but we were fine with that. We wanted more relaxation anyway. I loved the weather, it was breezy and comfy all day. I thought I would be disappointed that you couldn’t swim in the ocean at our resort but I wasn’t. We layed under our beach palapa and took our dips in the pool. Our resort was the last one on the strip so on one side was a bird sanctuary which was gorgeous! We walked that way everyday.

I am sure that no matter what you choose, you will have an AMAZING time!

I too have never been to any of them– they all sound wonderful, especially if it is kid free!

I hear Puerto Vallarta is beautiful and wonderful….and cancun is a little too spring breaky for me. I hear cabo san lucas is nice too 🙂

  12. ANOTHER vacation? You lucky girl!! I hope this one is WITHOUT kids!!!

And if you ARE going without kids… WHO watches your kids? I NEED A KIDS FREE VACATION!!

I have never been to those. I have only been to Aruba. It was a work trip for Michael and I laid on the beach all day. Boring at night though unless you drink, party, or gamble. I had a massage on the beach in a hut. It was an open hut so I could hear the ocean. Oh that is my “happy place” that I go to when I need to.. LOL

My vote is for Puerto Vallarta – why? have I been there? Nope but I’ve watched the love boat on many many occasions!

  14. I’ll tell you what I think if you promise to take me with you. I promise I can make myself scarce should you and Jeff need alone time.

  15. I LOVED Cancun cause there was all the ruins and scuba diving and great shopping.
I guess it depends on what kinda holiday you want.
    Sight-seeing, relaxing, shopping?

I have friends that swear by Puerto Vallarta. I am not a beach person so I have just done Mexico City. Just thinking about Mexico is making me want some guacamole. Yum!

  17. Not a beach person? All I think about when the word Vacation comes to my mind is BEACH! I guess I grew up too close to it.

I actually really enjoying traveling without beaches too. Different kind of vacation though.

  18. Let Them Be Little says

I havent been to any of them either so they all sound good to me!

  19. familyof6 says

The only one I have been to is Cancun. It was fun but I wouldn’t do it again. I would chose one of the other places.

  20. I have not been to any of these vacation spots….but I have heard wonderful things about Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta…I don’t think you could go wrong. Are you finally getting that much needed vacation….without children??

    Also love your cooking blog!!

  21. Mark and Kiss says

    ummmmm….take me with you…:)

  22. I would go to Los Cabos. I went to both as a single woman, but I would love to go back to Los Cabos with my husband.

  23. Good & Crazy says

I’m protesting the whole gist of this post. If you are going to any of them…you suck. And we suck, cuz they aren’t even on our radar!

  24. Genny Heikka says

I’d choose Cabo. It’s really pretty, and fun.

  25. I can’t give you an opinion because we are LAME and have never been to any of them. Frankly I’m jealous that you have reason to even ask for that opinion…:)

  26. I’ve only been to Puerta Vallarta, in November…It was gorgeous….I was a lot younger, and went with a couple of gay men, so we spent a lot of time in gay bars….so well…I guess I’m not that much help. I really want to go again, so if that helps…I can’t wait to hear what you decide and why!!!
