Homemade Chocolatey No-Bake Granola Bar {recipe}

How to Make Homemade Chololatey No-Bake Granola Bars are easy, and as far as granola goes, taste heavenly.  That might just be because this recipe takes some of the “healthy” out and adds in a more sugar than some moms would like, but I don’t even care.  When I tasted this recipe that my sister made, I couldn’t stop eating it.  It’s hands down my favorite granola bar recipe. The great thing about this Recipe is that you can change things up a bit. If you want to put the healthy back in this recipe, just use regular Rice Crispies instead of Cocoa Crispies and all honey instead of the half honey/half corn syrup mixture I use and you can serve this with a clean conscious.  {{smiling}}

Melt butter, corn syrup, brown sugar, and honey over medium-high heat until it starts to boil.  Reduce the heat to medium-low and then cook for two minutes.  You want your mixture to be more on the thickish side than thin side.

Add the vanilla.

Pour over the Oat and Cocoa Crispy mixture that you set aside.

Mix until all ingredients are moist.

Spread onto a cookie sheet with sides.  Be sure to pack it in tight, otherwise your granola bars will fall apart, which isn’t the worst thing in the world to happen.  If it does, you still have a great tasting granola.  {{This recipe will make one large cookie sheet worth.}}
