Hide and Seek

I didn’t think it was possible, but playing Hide-and-Seek for hours CAN be a reality.

My children proved it last week.

It seemed like every time I turned around those crazy kids were counting, running, hiding, and repeating.

There must be something about camping and Hide and Seek.  I can’t think of any other explanation.

I’m playing along with Photo Story Friday and Give Me Your Best Shot this week.

  6. Looks like they were having a blast!

  7. I love hide and seek. 🙂 So glad they do too!!

  8. Love these pictures 🙂

I remember one day when I was about 11 and my 4 year old brother had been in bed for an hour or two all ready my mum said “Why don’t you go wake up your brother and play hide and seek with him?”

I don’t know what she was thinking, or why she thought it was a good idea suddenly to wake him up in the middle of the night (to him) for a game but as this was something that was Never done (“Once you’re in bed, you STAY there!”) my younger sister and I (If I remember correctly it was just about our bedtime too) decided this was a hilarious idea and did so. She let us play for about 30 minutes or so… never forgot it.

  9. Love, love, love the covered eyes. Such a childhood thing to do!

  10. Wherever works right?

  11. Oh this brings back so many memories…maybe I should play with the kids today! There is nothing like a good game of hide and seek!

  12. LOL looks like they had a ball

  13. If it keeps them entertained and they don’t hide too much from YOU, I am all for it! In fact, right about now, that sounds like a fabulous thing for my kids to want to do (if only they WOULD). 🙂

  14. Lovely photos! My three year old likes to play hide and seek but still hasn’t grasped the essential fact that you are meant to stay hidden until someone comes and finds you 🙂

  15. Looks like they’re having a blast. Hope it was a fun trip for you, too!

  16. I LOVED playing hide n seek as a kid. Now I just need my kids to get a little older so they can play that together without involving me! Hope you had a great trip!

  17. I loved playing hide and seek when I was young! Hide and seek while camping would be perfect, there was probably a million places to hide! Hope your trip was fun!

  18. Your little Hide and Seekers are the cutest things. Four flipping hours? You have to be kidding me? Wow!

  19. What a precious “childhood capture”. Awesome, camping and games! Did the twins tell where everyone else was hidden? I haven’t played with Stephan in a while to know if he has grown out of that, I think so….

  20. Oh how fun! I’m jealous, it’s just too hot to camp here right now.

  21. I loved playing hide and seek as a kid. We played with all the neighbors. Inside, outside, it didn’t matter too us. And I had some of the best hiding spots!

  22. I think only kids can play hide and seek for hours. It must have been the neat setting!
