Have you ever?

Have you ever?

Yelled at your children for no reason other than that they were annoying you?

Have you ever?

Said some thing to someone because you knew it would hurt their feelings?

Have you ever?

Felt like a total outcast for no other reason than that you allowed yourself to?

Have you ever?

Done something that you are totally ashamed of?

I haven’t (said with tongue in cheek).

I was just wondering if you had.

Ahem, yes I have said things to people to hurt their feelings. Mostly to people who bullied me as a child ( I have ADD and dyscalculia, which results in practically lifelong bullying).
No, I am not proud of that. But when someone made your life a living hell for years on end it is very hard not to strike back when the occasion occurs.
And in case you wanted to know, yes I made those people cry. I can be the worst, most evil bitch in the galaxy when needed. But mostly I am nice though *coughcough*

I don’t think there’s anyone in the whole world who can say that they haven’t. We’re all human, after all, and that means we’re capable of great things… and great meanness.
Here’s to a future of great things and less meanness. πŸ™‚

Wow – 3 out of 4 for me. (Hangs head.)

I desperately try not to say anything that would purposefully hurt someone’s feelings – really. Mean words are a waste of oxygen. But then I have to think, how many times did I not realize that what I said caused a mark?

    That’s probably in the millions.

Damn woman, it’s too early for self-reflection πŸ˜‰ Coffee!

Yes, yes, yes, and a big fat YES. Now I’m gonna do something nice for my kids, before I yell at them again.

I admit to every one of those. Not anything that is normal for me, but at sometime or another I did them all

Yes. I. Have. This morning I yelled at my dogs for barking too loudly. And the other night I lied and told my children that it was bedtime….but it wasn’t.

Being that I love to ride a unicycle, I thought it imperative that become a Circus Follower. And yes, in a stretched moment, I have yelled at my kids without good reason….when they were little. Not so much now.

And Yes, I have done stupid, shameful things when young…who hasn’t? I like to think I have grown out of that.
