Getting My Craft On for Halloween

My sisters are crafty. And when I say crafty, I mean, really talented in a tasteful, crafty way.

I on the other hand?  I can get by in the craft department.

If I copy.

This year, I’m going to get my craft/copy on for Halloween.

Luckily, my sister already made what I’ve decided I’m going to copy.

I can SO. Do. This:

I can easily find a frame to paint black; I’m pretty sure I have some clothes pins hanging around that I can also paint orange, black and green.  I’m allllllllmost positive that if I ask nicely my sister will send me some crafty Halloween cast-offs to decorate my board with……

I might have a small hiccup though.

Where in the world I am going to buy chicken wire?

    Your so funny. I am good at copying too and finding stuff other people make too. Why not do a magnet board then you can add different holidays and skip chicken wire altogether.

    Hardware or garden store. And no, I’m not at all crafty, I only know this because my husband made a similar frame as a DIY pasta drying rack :).

    I made a Halloween banner this year! You know I craft like a toddler and I have to admit that I’m pretty pleased with my festive little banner. Because, if you stand way back it looks pretty sweet. And, since I hung it up real high, close to the ceiling, all of my Halloween party guests will probably think it’s not messed up at all. Even though it sorta is. But not as much as I’ d feared. Calling it a score for Dumb Mom!
