Frozen Themed Party {how-to}

How to Throw a Frozen Themed Birthday Party can be the easiest child themed party ever.  Of all the Themed Birthday Parties I’ve thrown, this was the easiest, because it only involved one event (ice skating) and a few cute inexpensive decorations to make a (dessert table)!  To throw a Frozen themed birthday party all you need is an ice skating venue, a cute banner, fabric, lots of cake stands and of course several themed desserts.  It’s easy peasy!

My birthday girl recently had a figure skating competition so I was able to reuse her prop (the door) and skating dress.  I love it when you can reuse things.  I’m thinking Halloween costume too!  {{snicker}}

Decorations

The decorations for a Frozen themed party is as simple as hanging fabric for a backdrop, draping it with a banner, displaying cake stands of various sizes and filling them with desserts.  I borrowed cake stands and used some that I already had at home.  I found the chalkboard Frozen banner online and paid a few dollars for the file to download.

“Marshmallow Pops”, by far the easiest dessert to ever make!  Here’s a tutorial to show you just how easy they are to make.

“Snowballs” or should I say “snow rings”?!  I couldn’t find powdered sugar donut holes so these mini donuts had to suffice.

Elsa Cookies

“Elsa Cookies”, cake mix cookies that can be made in a snap with this recipe.

Cupcakes, I bought the cupcakes and quickly decorated them with diy flags.  Here’s a quick tutorial to make your own using toothpicks, glitter washi tape (dollar bin at Target) and scissors.
