Electronic Karma

I’m convinced that my electronics not made by Apple are trying to punish me for switching sides.

Ever since Jeff gave me an ipod touch I’ve coveted all things Apple. Like an iPhone and an iPad. I wouldn’t mind a Mac, either, for that matter.

Anyway, as soon as Jeff surprised me with an iPad, some strange things happened. My Palm Pre (touch screen phone NOT made by Apple) started acting possessed, and by possessed, I mean conference calling someone every time I was talking to someone else. You all know THAT’S no good.

Then, someone stepped on my laptop and ruined the screen…..not such a big deal (I’m being facetious here) except it means I have to send my laptop in for repairs.

And you all know what that means…..

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

I’m desperate. And without my main brain.

Somehow my PC’S plan of trying to strand me with out my “brain” thus making me see that he IS essential and better than an old iPad is back firing. It’s just making me want to replace him with a MAC all the more.

I don’t think I’m going to be able to forgive him.

  1. LOL, I have converted completely over to Mac, and I haven’t looked back since, I highly recommend the change over. It is so awesome when all your electronics work together and work well! I hope you have a great rest of your week!

  2. That is so weird!

  3. You should know that “Apples” are good for you. 🙂 Come over to the Mac side…..you won’t regret it.

  4. We have not become a Mac family yet. We are lame-0.

  5. Oh, man! I know all about this! I have HORRIBLE karma with electronics.
Go all Mac! That should solve the problem!
PS- Full disclosure: I am a Mac girl! Bad Karma or not, they are the best.

  6. Too funny. I haven’t switched to the mac yet, but have the iphone. Good luck…

  7. I haven’t been bitten by the apple bug yet. My hubs has though. I’m freaked out at the thought of learning a whole new set of programs. Maybe its easier than I expect. I’m just to exhausted to think about it, really.

I hope you find something for your apple bug bites, though. Like Mac-osporin or something..

  8. Once you’ve had Mac, you’ll never go back. lol. good luck.

  9. I have both a MAC and a PC. I have a MacBook Pro laptop and a Dell desktop. There are merits in both. At this point, I’m still learning the ins and outs of my Mac, so I find myself gravitating towards to desktop for certain things like organizing my photos. iPhoto is great, but I still have a long way to go before I completely convert….totally rambling at this point…..I’m SO not helping…LOL. If it’s any consolation we have the following Apple products – MacBook Pro, two iPod Nanos, iPod Touch, iPad……so we’re there with you in the all consuming Apple product issue….still not really helpful. LOL.

  10. tell me about it – it’s a total conspiracy. you saw my apply post right?!!!

  11. Come over to the dark side LOL It really is bright over here no matter what those PC people say 🙂 Once you go MAC you never go back!!

  12. First, so jealous about the iPad. I’m desperate for one. Yet hubby things I should just be happy with my iPhone and iMac. He’s crazy I tell ya.

Second, get an iMac. Say goodbye to the PC world and come over the the Apple side. You won’t be sorry.

  13. My sister just got an iPad. I’m IN LOVE with the thing. But alas. My next expensive toy will be a laptop; I’ve never had one. And it won’t be an MacBook either… sigh….
