How to Make this Easy Cinnamon Roll Recipe is easy, and it’s perfect for the holiday’s. It’s great for a holiday morning breakfast or better yet, gift giving. I haven’t met anyone yet that doesn’t adore homemade cinnamon rolls! One of the wonderful things about this recipe is that you only have to let the dough rise once. By using PAM® Baking spray, you won’t have to worry about your rolls sticking to the pan. The PAM® Baking spray combines the no-stick power of PAM® with real flour. The spray on formula makes it possible to hit every inch of your pan. {{fabulous}}

So, this holiday season, I’ve got a secret weapon, and it’s name is PAM®. For real. Nothing is more frustrating than having holiday baking disasters just because the item stuck to the pan.
I have these beautiful holiday bundt pans that are almost impossible to get perfect results with because they are too hard to grease properly. The point of using the bundt pans is to create cakes that have gorgeous scroll work on them, but they almost never work. Now they do. With PAM®. This holiday season I can wow my friends and neighbors with baked goods that look amazing, and since that sort of thing makes me feel good {I’m vain that way}, it’s a big deal. HUGE. Considering PAM® is totally affordable, and has 99% Less Residue than other brands, I can confidently bake delicious food this holiday season….with success the first time around!
What I Love About PAM® Cooking Sprays
- They really work!!!
- The Original, Butter and Baking PAM® Cooking Sprays leave up to 99 percent less residue buildup than other cooking sprays or margarine that you might use. {{wow}}
- PAM has seven specifically formulated non-stick cooking sprays!
- Perhaps best of all, the improved formula has zero calories per serving.
Now, back to those Cinnamon Rolls…..
Cinnamon Roll Ingredients
- 7-1/2 cups flour
- 4-1/2 tsp yeast
- 3/4 cup sugar, white
- 1-2/3 cup water
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 beaten eggs
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- cinnamon
- brown sugar, approx 1-2 cups
- PAM® Baking Spray
Directions {step-by-step}
Step 1: Dissolve yeast in warm water. Approximately 15 minutes.
Step 2: After the yeast dissolves add the sugar. (You don’t need to stir it just pour it in.) Let it sit until it bubbles.
Step 3: In mixer, add the yeast and sugar mixture and the remainder of the ingredients, gradually. Tip: incorporate some of the flour before adding the melted butter so that it doesn’t cook the eggs.
Step 4: At this point you could roll the dough out into a rectangle, spread with softened butter and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon or you could let it rise for 1 hour. Tip: letting it rise first makes a softer dough.
Step 5: If you let the dough rise, knock it down and roll out into a rectangular shape. Brush/spread with softened butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
Step 6: Roll into a jelly roll and cut into 1″ slices.
Step 7: Spray your pans generously with Pam Baking spray.
Step 8: Place slices onto pans, cover with a towel and let rise twice their size. Make sure to leave at least a 1″ space between rolls so that they can rise. Approximately 1 hour.
Step 9: Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Until lightly golden brown on top.
Step 10: While the cinnamon rolls bake, make frosting.
Frosting Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 7 tbls. butter, softened
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
Mix the above ingredients together in no particular order and frost cinnamon rolls.

YUM! This recipe looks alot easier than some I’ve seen for cinnamon rolls lol..I’ve always wanted to try making them from scratch!!
My holiday baking tip is to make dough ahead of time such as cookie dough, and freeze it to save tons of time! You can also bake cakes & freeze them(without the icing of course lol) and then thaw them and frost them!
Thanks for the chance to win too!!

My tip is to make what you ban ahead of time so you can enjoy more time with the family instead of the kitchen.
I set a couple of days aside, so I get all my baking done then. I am not having to do it, when everyone comes over.
Make sure you have all the ingredients and have enough of them. I can’t tell you how many times I have gone to make pies or a holiday dessert and ran out of something.
Make sure you have your measuring implements correctly assembled, especially if you have a terrible cold right before the holidays but you’re still baking anyway – I was sicker than a dog the day before Thanksgiving one year, but was determined to make the pumpkin pies I was to bring to my family’s Thanksgiving dinner…in my foggy state, I accidentally used Tablespoon measurements on the spices instead of teaspoon… 😉
im still learning how to cook. not good at it yet
Use a timer! I am constantly overcooking when I don’t!
Bake cookies in advance, layer between sheets of wax paper and freeze!
Always use parchment paper or a silicone baking mat for stick-free and easy clean-up. Silpats is my favorite when it comes to bake cookies.
Using flour on the bottom of a cake pan helps make it easier to shake free gently
Oh those look so delicious! I will be trying those for Thanksgiving morning!
My best holiday baking tip? When I make cookies I double the batch and freeze half the dough (preformed into balls). That way when Im lazy, I can just bake a few at a time.
Be exact with your measurements!
Plan your menu well in advance, and make sure you have all ingredients needed on hand.
My best tip is to decide what you’re making ahead of time and do all the shopping at once!
My tip is to gather ALL of your ingredients and supplies in advance.
Prepare everything you can ahead of time. Thanksgiving day will be super busy!
I have never had homemade cinnamon rolls. I’ve always just gotten them from Cinnabun. They are sooooo good! Oh man I wish I could bake that well!
Pick things you know how to bake because it should be a time to ENJOY and relax
These look amazing!
Keep it simple, make it ahead, and freeze. Most baked goods freeze well, then you are always prepared for company and or parties!
Make them ahead of time.
My best holiday tip is “Bake early and Bake often” :+)
Stock up on ingredients when they’re on sale. You’ve saved some $$ and are ready for baking when a blizzard hits and you can’t get to the store. 😉
Always have fresh spices on hand
I bake and freeze ahead of time so I’m not so stressed over the holidays.
I keep it simple plan ahead and have all my ingredients on hand then plan on a time to do all my baking
thanks for the giveaway
I make my pie dough ahead of time and freeze till a few days before making my pies I remove the dough then just have to roll out and fill and bake.thanks for the chance to win!!
Let your children help! Little hands in the kitchen are messy, but you are making memories that will last a lifetime!
Oh, my daughter and I are totally making these today!
How much butter? Am I missing it in the ingredient list?
My short cut is making cookies in advance and then freezing them, I also tend to do that with scones, fruit pies and pound cakes as well! I also admit sometimes when I am short on time to using ready made frosting.
These look good but I do not see the amount of butter in the ingredient list? Can you please help
Use quality ingredients!
This year (as last year) I’ll be making this DELICIOUS Pumpkin Butter Cheesecake Pie with Kozlowski Farms pumpkin butter….heavenly!

One thing we always do is make everything the night before so it simply has to be thrown into the oven.
My best tip is to use fresh eggs for baking.
My best holiday baking tip is to prepare as much ahead of time as possible so you don’t get overwhelmed on the special day. If you want non lumpy gravy, start with a roux, and slowly add your liquids!
My tip is to bake a lot on cold days. The heat helps warm the house!
Spread out your baking a week or two in advance and freeze the cookies or treats that you are able and make the ones you can’t freeze at the end of the line.
Plan what you are going to cook ahead of time.
Mix up a batch or two of cookie dough and stash it in the fridge to be baked when you have time. Most doughs will keep for at least a few days. This way you can get your baking done in short “snippets” of time.
My tip is to clean while you cook/bake, because if you don’t you’ll never end up cleaning up at all 😉 Or at least thats how it is for me!
start early, things that you can chill or free you can put away so your not overwhelmed
Have everything you need on the table and ready to go, no having to hunt for items will make things go fast.
pre measure all your ingredients so you can just toss them in the bowl as mix!
Plan ahead, buy ahead and prepare as much ahead as you can.
I like to measure some butter, freeze it then grate it into chips”. I then dust the chips with flour and freeze them until I need them to make a crust.
My best holiday baking tip is to not leave it to the last minute.
use a good timer
Start early and freeze whatever is possible!
Use cocoa powder instead of flour when dusting your cake pans when making chocolate cakes. No white reside.
I like to buy extra ingredients since I will prob burn something!
With no butter measurement recipe is incomplete. Will have to save my Pam for a different recipe. : (
My best holiday baking tip is to call up my sister in law and have her do it. She really should open her own shop.
My best holiday baking tip is to get organized. Be sure to get all ingredients out, measured, chopped, whatever…get it all ready before beginning. Thanks.
I prepare as much as I can ahead of time that can be kept in the fridge before the big cooking day.
As little last-minute, day-of prep as possible. And make and freeze cookies so they can be packaged and given away quickly.
My tip is to make sure you have everything you need before you start baking.
Plan ahead, make a shopping list and make sure you have everything handy before you get started. Also, make sure once you start you clean as you go.
How about the butter amount for your readers…especially this one who has everything in the works, but has no idea on the butter amount. Stuck…help! Please respond with butter amount!!!
my best tip entails leaving the task to someone else. 🙂
(and make sure you have all the ingredients)
If you are not a frequent baker, it’s likely your baking powder and yeast may be old. Buy fresh for holiday baking.
pre-measure all ingredients ahead of time. it makes it so much less stressful
My best tip would be to read the recipe TWICE before starting!
I like to prep ahead of time
i do most of my baking on the Tuesday before the holiday
Have lots of extra ingredients on hand and take your time when baking.
Stay organized and follow the recipe instructions carefullly
I always try to bake two items at a time as long as the temperature is the same that was it saves time and energy.

My best holiday baking tip is to try and pick up at least 2 or 3 items every time you go grocery shopping a few months in advance.
prep as much as you can the day before. tomorrow I am doing alot of prep so it is not to much on Thanksgiving
Make sure to use fresh and good quality ingredients.
I clean up as I go so I dont end up with a huge mess;

I like to bake alot ahead of time and freeze so I always have homemade cookies on hand 🙂
Always use Pam!
Pam definitely makes cooking and baking whole lot easier! Also make sure you have all your ingredients needed before you start putting them together, you don’t want any emergency mid-baking store runs because you ran out of an ingredient or didn’t have it.. Wonderful recipe for the Cinnamon Rolls as well, I can’t wait to try it!
my best tip is, always use non stick spray
do as much prep work as possible and dont be afraid to ask for help!

Empty out some space from the freezer ahead of time!
Use fresh ingredients for your pie filling.
My tip would be to have all ingrediants on hand!!
My best tip is to start preparing things the night before or even the day before so that you are not trying to rush around.
Have ingredients out and ready.
