DIY Lemonade Stand {free printables}

My sister throws amazing parties and so it’s not surprising that her latest lemonade stand was pretty spectacular, too. When I told her that I had the opportunity to work with Tap Influence and International Delight her ears perked up and she got all kinds of ideas of ways for putting together the BEST Lemonade Stand her block has ever seen.

DIY Lemonade Stand

There are a few key elements required for a spectacular lemonade stand. The first of course, are cute kids. If you have kids doing the selling, customers will come. For some reason, customers like it when kids are selling the lemonade and extra goodies, like cupcakes. {{smiling}}

If you have cute kids and cute printables {like these ones by The TomKat Studio} advertising your Lemonade Stand, then your Lemonade Stand will be successful. Guaranteed.

Thirdly, offer an alternative to Lemonade for the grown ups. My sister offered International Delight Iced Coffee and her neighbors went wild for it. You can learn more about ID on FB, ID on Twitter, ID on Pinterest, ID on Instagram, and ID on YouTube.  If you are like me and don’t drink coffee, you can always make a coffee substitute and add International Delight creamers for a great iced drink without coffee.  {{wink}}

Make sure your kids use their manners and best smiles for ultimate sales {and because it’s the right thing to do}.

And, have fun counting the spoils. Lemonade stands are excellent ways to use math skills over the summer!

Make a PVC pipe stand for your Lemonade stand background. Use a sheet to cover the PVC pipe. It’s easy and affordable and makes a great backdrop! You can buy a few pieces of PVC piece and joints at the hardware store for a few dollars.

Let the kiddos help make the cupcakes. Why not even try making them from scratch?
