Wordful Wednesday – Disney Studios

Wordful Wednesday 411: Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday, except WITH words.  It’s for those of us that just cannot be wordless, no matter how much we try.  Add my Wordful Wednesday badge to your post (right side bar under “WW”) if you really want to make me happy, and then add your post link to the linky below. Easy peasy.

Last week the kids and I got to tour Disney Studios in Burbank, California.  We’ve driven by it about a million times but have never been “invited” in so it was super fun to be granted “guest” privileges and be able to drive on in and walk around.

We were  actually there on “official” business.  We got to interview actress Odeya Rush as part of the publicity leading up to this weeks (August 15th) movie release of The Odd Life of Timothy Green.

Unfortunately, it was about 105 degrees outside so we didn’t spend as much time walking around as we would have liked, but we did get to get a feel for the Disney Studios, snap some fun photos, and of course conduct our interview.

Now that’s the place to have “official business” to travel to! Your photos sent me back to high school band trips to Disneyland and all the other gazillion related Disney-good-times I’ve had with my girlfriends and/or my kidlets. Your family is beautiful! :>

How fun! Disney seriously impresses, don’t they?

We’ve had some fun experiences this summer, but as for the most memorable so far … probably running out of the library with a screaming toddler 2 days ago. Her first trip to the library. We left without any books. Or a library card. Clearly, she’s not ready 🙂

105 (I shudder). Still, it looks like a fabulous time. We truly haven’t done much this summer — haven’t gone anyplace remarkable or worth noting. But, it’s been relaxing, so I won’t complain.

Wow…. that is pretty hot! I am so glad that the heat is gone from Michigan! But it’s fun that you were invited to Disney studios! Actually, it’s pretty awesome!

It obviously took a Disney post to get my to stop lurking about and come say hi! 🙂 I am quite jealous of your invitation to go to Disney Studios – what an amazing experience! Our most memorable event over the summer was our trip to Disney World – we had a fantastic time – and naturally cannot wait to go again (in 40 more days!).

Sorry I am late to the party!

I love your water tower shot. Can you believe that I have only been to Disneyland once? And that is the closest I have been to anything Disney-owned and operated. Looks like you had fun in spite of the heat.

How fun! Adds a whole new dimension to ‘going to the movies’! Any of yours want to be actors/actresses when they grow up?
