Contributing Editor on SITS

Wednesday was a big day. Not only was it #2’s birthday (oh how I love this girl), it was a busy day for my family at a soon-to-be-disclosed-location, AND it was also the day that the SITS girls announced that I am the newest member of their team, with the title of Contributing Editor.

Sounds snazzy, doesn’t it?

It is. Β It’s like a dream job where I get to publish on a site other than my own, have the flexibility to fix my own hours, and I get to work with smart, savvy friends. Β That’s a particular bonus.

I have to admit that I wasn’t going to say anything, but I kinda-sorta can’t not.

I like accolades, compliments and signs of approval way too much.

So, in case you missed it, here’s the official announcement, with a list of 5 reasons they think I’m great.

It’s the vanity in me rearing it’s BIG head.

Well deserved vanity. I am very excited for you! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

And a great five reason, too. #3 – a fighter was my favorite, though. I totally think you rock for all that you went through for your twins. It is amazing what one can rise to when the need is there – especially in the role of motherhood.

I never would have guessed that being a mother would evoke so many qualities I didn’t know I had! Thanks so much for your wonderful comment!

As much as M-K wants to take credit for my work, I wrote that post. Don’t let her tell you any different. πŸ™‚

And having you a part of SITS is like a wonderful gift. How often do friends get to do great things together?

Thank you for all that you do.

M-K doesn’t get anything by me. She is TRANSPARENT. πŸ™‚ I didn’t believe it for a second. Friends that get to work together is an amazing gift. Thank you.

Awww, this is so exciting! I just read the official announcement over on SITS so I wanted to swing by to say congrats! That’s such an awesome honor and you’re absolutely perfect for the job! Wow, sorry about all the exclamations – everything just sounded so “blah” when I ended with a period. πŸ˜‰

Welcome and congrats! What an incredible opportunity. And they certainly had 5 very good reasons to bring you aboard. Can’t wait to see what you bring to the table.

    That is so cool!

I have been a member of SITS for a long time, but I have to admit I haven’t been very active. I do try to visit most of my commenters, but I don’t regularly stop in to the SITS site. Maybe you will have to be my motivator :o)
