Bloggy Book Exchange Link Up

Last month the book worm in me necessitated that I organize the Seven Clown Circus Bloggy Book Exchange.

Look what just came in the mail!

My New Stash

Thank you, Liz of Dear Lizzies Life!

I can’t wait to dive in.

Which do you recommend I devour first?

I have The Pilot’s Wife by Anita Shreve, The Whitney Chronicles by Judy Baer, The Last Mango in Texas by Ray Blackston, She’s Come Undone by Wally Lamb, and Dear John by Nicolas Sparks to chose from.

To see what other books are floating around, be sure to check out the other participants blog posts listed below on Mr. Linky.

She’s Come Undone! Wally Lamb is my very favorite author of all time.
Second should be The Pilot’s Wife, then Dear John, then I’ll let you pick.

Tie between Dear John and She’s Come Undone. Dear John tearjerker romance type, Undone more thoughtful. Either way those two will be engaging. Not sure about the rest. Mine are not here yet:(

Ooo, The Pilot’s Wife is fabulous. Read that one first.

  15. 15

I haven’t read any of those books, but I bet they are pretty good!

  16. 16

Wally Lamb is one of my fave authors. I’m with scrappy sue~”I know this much is true” is my favorite book by him, but “She’s come undone” is great too. Dear John and The Pilot’s Wife are also good. Haven’t read the others.

  17. 17

Loved She’s Come Undone. Going to start Pilot’s Wife myself soon. Let me know when you do and we can “discuss” =)
Thanks for visiting my blog last week!

I hope you enjoy all of the books! I have already devoured You Remind Me of Me. It was wonderful! I am about to start on another of the books you sent me, and I’ll have my post up soon. 🙂

I found your blog via your button on a recent post on “My Chaos My Bliss.” A bloggy book exchange sounds like such a fun idea, I’m sorry I didn’t find you before now! (If you ever decide to do another one, count me in!). I loved “The Pilot’s Wife” so much that I went on to devour more books by Anita Shreve after reading that one. And while I’ve never read “She’s Come Undone,” I’ve read two others by Wally Lamb. He’s an incredible author, and writes books that linger with you long after you finish the last page. Enjoy your new books!

  20. 20

She’s Come Undone should be first for sure! I read that book eons ago and loved it.

  21. 21

    I recommend “She’s Come Undone.”

I really like Dear John – but I wouldn’t recommend seeing them movie…it was choppy and didn’t follow the story very well…the book is so much better! Thanks for a great book swap!
