I’ve never been so anxious to cast my vote in a Presidential election. I wonder if I ever will again {be this anxious}. It’s one of those days that I know I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
I woke up at 3 am. And 4 am. And then again at 5 am. I finally got out of bed at 6 am and got ready for the polls to open. I even color coordinated my clothing. I felt really Patriotic at home wearing my red, white and blue duds. I felt kind of stupid at the polls, though. {{smiling}}
I’m grateful that I have the right to vote and beautiful weather in which to do it in. And now I’m on pins and needles.

I’m just glad it’s finally over and the government can get back to the work of governing the country again. Truly, I was so appalled at how much money was wasted by both sides on this campaign, money that could have done so much good elsewhere, that it really overshadows much of the rest for me.

And why shouldn’t you? It was a very special day! I didn’t manage to get coordinated, but I rocked that “I Voted!” sticker like nobody’s business at the grocery store today! 
Your excitement about it is so darn cute!!!! As are you.
I was worried I wouldn’t be able to… lines were supposed to be super long and I knew I wouldn’t have more than an hour chunk to wait. The line was around the corner at 7 am, but by afternoon, it tapered off and I was in and out in 15 minutes.
I was #12 in line first thing in the a.m. Voted, took about 15 minutes after the polls opened.
By the way, I love your patriotic flair in your style!!! Works for me.
