Wondering what to make for your kids before they head out to Trick-or-Treat? Why not give Mummy Pizza Puffs a try? They are light and fluffy and filled with cheese and pepperoni, the pizza toppings my kids adore. It does take a little advance preparation, but the end results is so cute that it’s worth the effort!

Mummy Pizza Puff Ingredients

- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. water
- All-purpose flour
- 1 pkg. (17.3 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets, thawed
- pizza sauce
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- pepperoni
- sliced olives
Directions {Step-by-Step}
Step 1: Heat the oven to 400°F. Beat the egg and water in a small bowl with a fork.

Step 2: Sprinkle the flour on the work surface. Unfold 1 pastry sheet on the work surface. Roll the pastry sheet into an 11-inch square.

Step 3: Cut into 9 (3 1/2-inch) circles. Repeat with the remaining pastry sheet. Reserve the pastry scraps to cut into strips for the mummy decoration.
Step 4: Brush 9 pastry circles with the egg mixture.

Step 5: Top with sauce, cheese and pepperoni.

Step 6: Place the remaining pastry circles over the toppings and press the edges to seal. Crimp the edges with a fork.

Step 7: Roll out the remaining pastry dough and cut into thin strips with pizza cutter.

Step 8: Put two sliced olives on each pastry puff. Decorate the tops of the pastries with the reserved pastry scraps. Brush the pastries with the egg mixture. Place the pastries onto a baking sheet. Freeze for 20 minutes.

Step 9: Bake for 18 minutes or until the pastries are golden brown. Remove the pastries from the baking sheet and let cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Yum! Minus the olives though… I really do not like them or mushrooms! These would be fun to make together though!
