How to Make Candlestick Candy Jars is not only fun, it’s easy. It involves a little scrounging, spray painting, glueing, and best of all, filling with fun candy. I found my glass jars in my cupboard, the candlesticks at a local thrift store and I picked up the spray paint and glue at a craft store. The whole project only took about an hour, and that’s only because I had to wait for a few coats of the paint to dry. The end result is so worth the time and money (under $20) and I love that it’s totally versatile and can be used regularly in my home and for parties!
Candlestick Candy Jars

My inspiration came from this jar that was given to my family. It’s been awfully lonely for a few months and so I decided it needed a few colorful friends. :)
Supplies Needed:

- Assorted Candlesticks – Ceramic ones seem to spray paint the best.
- Spray paint in desired color (s) – I used a quick drying, satin finish paint
- Adhesive – I used E-6000 glue
- Glass jars – I used an assortment of recycled glass jars with labels removed and jars washed
- Candy to fill the jars
- Ribbon if you’d like to embellish the jars
Instructions:

- Clean jars
- Spray paint candle stick bases and jar lids
- Once paint has dried, glue jars on candle stick bases
- Fill jars with candy
- Embellish jars if wanted
- Voila! You’re done! Enjoy.

Yet another great idea! Very cute. I might make some of these for some beach shells we have from our last vacation which are still in a plastic bag
This is such a great idea! I have all these jars saved up for some sort of craft and now I know what to do with them!
I love these! They would make great gifts with the candy. You could also follow the same, but fill with sand and seashells for decorations. I might have to try that for in my bathroom!
Oh my! These are so cute! Thanks for sharing!
I love the height and color of the candy jars! So much better than just one plain jar
So nice – great idea well executed!
