I just realized that I’ve somehow graduated from talking about cribs and strollers and diapers to more mainstream items. Like cookware. 
A few months ago Jeff and I were shopping and found a set of Calphelon skillets on sale. We bought them thinking they’d be a great addition to our cookware since our main set is stainless steel, which is not great for anything really that you don’t want to stick, like omelets. We got the pans home and have used them constantly. We LOVE them. I really can’t say enough great things about them.
When CSN contacted me about offering one of you the same set of Calphelon skillets that I have, I jumped on it. Retailing normally for over $100.00, this 10″ and 12″ set is a MUST have in your kitchen.

We’re actually looking for a new set of pots/pans. We’ve been doing lots of research. We’re still unsure of what brand to get. We’re trying to get away from Teflon-coated since we’re hearing that once it’s absorbed into the body it never leaves and there might be some long term effects from this. Of course, this only happens if the Teflon gets scratched off the pan. So, we’ll see what we end up with. I really like having something non-stick. How do you like you set? Pro/cons?

This would be perfect timing as My daughter asked me for skillets for her upcoming B-day
Except for one nonstick pan that I bought about 22 years ago, most of my cookware is from when we were married (39 years ago!) These pans would be wonderful, since my dh is now retired and likes to “pretend” that he can cook. I’d feel safer with him in the kitchen if he could use some nonstic skillet.
Now if I could only train him to not use metal utensils on them!!!
I love caphalon, only have one piece and would like for it to have additional family members.
