I Hope Her Wish Comes True…

by Angie on January 29, 2010

Because if wishes only come true if you blow all of the candles out with breath, then she’s in trouble.

And, just a side note…..she’s EIGHT.  My second child is EIGHT and I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around that fact.

So sweet! And, that’s a myth. You wishes only come true if your mommy says so. The candles don’t matter 1 bit! Lucky for her she’s got a pretty awesome, wish making mommy! My oldest turned 8 this year; guess this means I’m getting old too. Blech.

I’ve got a feeling her loving mommy will make sure those wishes come true. ;)

Why does it never fail to amaze me how quickly the children grow? You’d think I’d be used to it by now, with a fifteen year old in the house.

Wait a minute…I’ve got a fifteen year old daughter?!?!?

Oh my gosh, she’s going to be sixteen this year. Waaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!

EIGHT?! Oh my, I know exactly how you feel! Just wait until you’ve got a teenager. Try wrapping your brain around that one!

In a month, my 4th child will be turning 7, and in a year 4 of my 5 kids will have hit baptizing age. Wowzers! Are we really that old?

Eight?!! I’m freaking out a bit that my oldest will be 6 in a couple of months!!

She’s gorgeous – Happy Birthday to her! :)

It’s crazy. I swear the years go faster and faster. And that girl of yours gets prettier and prettier.

I had forgotten that we had two so close in age (Gracie turned 8 on the 11th). Is she getting baptized on the 6th too?

Happy Birthday to your little one! My oldest is eight and I think eight is such a fun age. She understands grown-up jokes and yet, still believes in all the wonderful fantasy things, like fairies and Santa. If she’s the same, then all your little girl’s wishes will come true.

I’m joining in the PSF fun this week and I’m so excited about it! :-)

What a pretty 8 year old! I have an 8 year old girl at my house too. :)

Can’t wrap your mind around 8? Just wait until she is wearing a bra and borrowing your favorite pair of shoes! It’s around the corner.

Happy 8th birthday to your cutie pie.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE “8″ yr. old the prettiest girl on the blog. Come on Mom today isn’t about you it’s about that beautiful daughter you have. Believe she’s 8, and next year she’ll be 9, and the year after that — and then one day you and her will be going to buy that prom dress… It’s fun believe me. I raised two girls, and I’m starting on my granddaughters now. Why I was just saying I cannot believe my oldest granddaughter is 10 :-( Now how do you feel? LOL Have a great weekend, and say, “There’s no place like home”, and click your ruby slippers together. Hugs my friend.

Happy Birthday!
My oldest is turning 8 in a few months, I have had the same thoughts as you, except mine are more along the lines of “Am I seriously old enough to have an 8 year old?!”
Wonderful pictures, and I really hope that her wish comes true any way!

They grow So much faster than you even think when they hand that wrinkled up little bundle to you after birth. My oldest is 15 1/2 and my babies are 5 1/2! Where does the time go?
