I Hope Her Wish Comes True…

Because if wishes only come true if you blow all of the candles out with breath, then she’s in trouble.

And, just a side note…..she’s EIGHT. My second child is EIGHT and I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around that fact.

Why does it never fail to amaze me how quickly the children grow? You’d think I’d be used to it by now, with a fifteen year old in the house.

In a month, my 4th child will be turning 7, and in a year 4 of my 5 kids will have hit baptizing age. Wowzers! Are we really that old?

I had forgotten that we had two so close in age (Gracie turned 8 on the 11th). Is she getting baptized on the 6th too?

She understands grown-up jokes and yet, still believes in all the wonderful fantasy things, like fairies and Santa. If she’s the same, then all your little girl’s wishes will come true.

My oldest is turning 8 in a few months, I have had the same thoughts as you, except mine are more along the lines of “Am I seriously old enough to have an 8 year old?!”
